Catedral de San Sebastian
Saint (San) Sebastian is a Christain Saint who was killed during the Roman persecution of Christians. He is normally depicted as being tied to a tree and shotr full of arrows. It had been said that after the archers had shot him they left him for dead. The widow of Castulus, Irene of Rome, went to retrieve his body to bury it, and found he was still alive. She brought him back to her house and nursed him back to health. Later, he would harangued Emperor Diocletian who then ordered him to be beaten to death. Because the same Emperor had ordered him killed twice (and he did not die from the arrows), he is sometimes knows as the Saint who was martyred twice.
